Prime BSI Overview

The Prime BSI sCMOS is a back-illuminated camera designed to provide a balance between high resolution imaging and sensitivity, with the combination of a 6.5 µm pixel and near-perfect 95% quantum efficiency making it an ideal solution for a range of applications. Also featuring CMS mode for ultra-low read noise of 1.0 electrons!

Sensitivity

The Prime BSI sCMOS camera has 95% quantum efficiency and low 1.0 e- read noise for high sensitivity at over 40 frames per second. Its back-illuminated design maximizes light collection.

Resolution and Pixel Size

The Prime BSI has 6.5 µm pixels for high-quality images at 40x and 60x magnification. This pixel size is suitable for a wide range of microscope objectives.

Superior Background Quality

The Prime BSI has technology to reduce noise levels and improve image quality in low light conditions, allowing for imaging in the most challenging conditions.
