Teledyne Honored by 2025 VSD Innovators Awards

WATERLOO, Canada & GRENOBLE, France – May 13, 2025 - Teledyne DALSA and Teledyne e2v, Teledyne Technologies [NYSE: TDY] companies and global leaders in machine vision, announced today that their Linea™ HS2 line scan camera and Optimom™ 5D imaging module were recognized among the best by the 2025 VSD Innovators Awards. Votes placed by the engineering community recognized Teledyne DALSA’s Linea HS2 as a Platinum product in the Cameras – Specialty (High-speed, scientific) category and Teledyne e2v’s Optimom 5D as a Gold product in the Image Sensors category.

Teledyne DALSA’s Linea HS2 is the industry’s first 16K 1MHz TDI line scan camera. Designed for ultra-high-speed imaging in light starved conditions, this camera offers superior image quality with 16k resolution at a max line rate of 1MHz. It has a dual CLHS data interface that achieves 16GB/s data throughput with field-proven reliability in high-speed data transmission.

Teledyne e2v’s Optimom 5D is a unique new imaging module that incorporates the recently announced Topaz5D™ image sensor. It features a compact PCB and lens holder, a standard MIPI-CSI2 interface, and a pre-assembled lens. This comprehensive and truly innovative board-level vision extension seamlessly integrates full-HD 2M vision, available in mono or color, with the generation of 3D depth data. The module comes pre-calibrated and already optimized for various 3D depth sensing applications.
